About the Discount Ticket
At NOT A HOTEL, we offer a special 30% discount on trial stays, available exclusively through introductions by existing owners. Owners can generate a discount ticket URL via the app and share it with their friends or acquaintances.
How to Use the Discount Ticket
For the Recommender (Owner)
STEP 1: Select your owned house from the app
STEP 2: From the gift menu, choose “Gift a Discount Ticket”
STEP 3: Issue the ticket and share the URL via your preferred method

For the Referred Guest
STEP 1: Tap the shared URL
STEP 2: If you don’t have the NOT A HOTEL app, download it and create an account
STEP 3: Launch the app and proceed with the reservation from the displayed booking screen

Basic Rules
Eligible Users
Who can issue discount tickets:
Only owners of houses that are currently in operation are eligible to issue discount tickets. These tickets can be generated from a house card that allows for personal-use reservations.
Who can use discount tickets:
Discount tickets may only be used by guests who have been directly referred by an owner.
Please note: Owners themselves are not permitted to use the discount tickets.
Referred guests may book stays at properties managed by NOT A HOTEL. However, some properties may be unavailable during owner-exclusive priority booking periods. Your understanding is appreciated.
Issuance and Usage Limits
There is no limit to the number of discount tickets an owner may issue. However, the number of bookings made using those tickets is subject to a cap, based on the number of nights the owner holds:
For owners with 30 nights or more, the maximum number of discount ticket bookings allowed is 10.
For owners with fewer than 30 nights, the limit is 5 bookings.
Once the usage limit is reached, a message will appear on the booking screen stating, “Reservations unavailable—limit reached,” and no further bookings can be made using the ticket.
Booking Count Method
Each reservation made with a discount ticket counts as one use, regardless of the number of nights included.
If a reservation is cancelled, that use will not be counted, and the available usage count will be restored.
Validity Period
Discount tickets are valid for 180 days from the date of issuance.
Bookings may be made up to 90 days in advance within that validity period.
Additional Notes
Issuing or using a discount ticket does not reduce the owner’s allocated nights.
Charges for services such as meals or additional amenities will be billed directly to the guest through the app.
