How to Use the Record Player

Record players are only available in BASE S, M, and L rooms.

1. Preparing Before Playing a Record
Turn off the projector: If the projector is already turned on when using the record player, select the projector from the home controller on the in-room iPad and turn it off.
If the projector is not turned on, no further action is needed.
2. Setting Up and Playing a Record
Setting up the record: Open the dust cover and gently place the record on the turntable’s spindle. If you are playing a 7-inch (EP) record, attach the included EP adapter to the spindle before placing the record.
Selecting the rotation speed: Choose the appropriate speed for the record using the speed selector:
33 1/3 RPM (long-play records)
45 RPM (singles)
Starting playback: Press the START button. The platter will begin spinning, and the tonearm will automatically move to the record’s starting position to begin playback.
3. Adjusting the Volume
Using the volume control: Adjust the volume by turning the knob on the volume controller. Gradually increase the volume to a comfortable level.
4. Stopping Playback
How to stop: Press the STOP button. The tonearm will return to its original position, and the platter will stop spinning. Once playback is finished, the tonearm will automatically return, and the platter will stop.
5. Important Notes
If no sound plays: If no sound is heard, open the projector widget on the in-room iPad home controller and tap "Can't play the record?". If the issue persists, please contact us via chat.
After use: When you’re done listening, remove the record and close the dust cover.
6. Troubleshooting (If No Sound is Heard)
If no sound is heard, please check the following steps:

Check the Condition of the Stylus (Needle)
Make sure the stylus is not damaged.
Confirm that the stylus is securely attached to the cartridge.
Check the Tracking Force and Anti-Skating
Ensure the tracking force is adjusted to 2.0g.

Confirm that the anti-skating setting matches the tracking force.

Check the PHONO/LINE Switch
Ensure it is set to "LINE."

Try Restarting
Unplug the power cord, wait a few seconds, plug it back in, and try playing the record again.
