NOT A HOTEL NASU Quick Guide to Staying in NASU

To stay at NOT A HOTEL, you will need to use the app or website, so please make sure to bring your smartphone with you during your stay.

Please select the items of interest from the table of contents and check them before your stay.

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
At the check-in time, you can operate the check-in and unlock the front door from the key screen on the NOT A HOTEL app or website.
After completing the check-in, all unlockable keys in the house will be displayed on the key screen.
Press the unlock button of the key you want to unlock, and the door will open.

By selecting " * Show Code ," an authentication code will be displayed. You can also unlock the key by selecting " * Unlock the door lock " on the intercom near the entrance and entering the authentication code. The keys are auto-locking.

For check-out, select the reservation card you want to check out from on the in-app * key and choose " * Check Out ". After settling your usage charges during your stay, you will be notified of the payment through the app.

Facilities
House Equipment Operations

You can set the indoor environment and operate the equipment using the iPad installed in the house.
There are no switches to operate the equipment in the house, so please use the iPad.
For detailed instructions, refer to the How to operate the equipment inside the facility .

Home Appliances

Since they vary by house, please check the house AMENITIES information in the app using the following steps

1. From " Find " in the app, select the house you want to know about amenities.
2. Check the details of the selected house. Confirm the appliance information in AMENITIES .

Kitchenware

The house is equipped with basic cooking utensils, dishes, and cutlery. If you have any questions, please contact us via the concierge chat function.

Baths

MASTERPIECE and THINK baths are free-flowing hot-spring water.

CAVE baths are circulated (watered and heated).

House Convenience Store

The house has an unmanned convenience store stocked with daily necessities and light meals.
We offer drinks, food, dry items, daily necessities, and apparel.

The cost will be settled along with other charges after check-out.

We also provide complimentary coffee beans, tea, and openers.

Meals

You can check your reserved meals through the app.

Meal Menu Add your dinner menu preferences through the app or notify us via the concierge chat function. Check the provided menu available at each location . *Menus differ by place.
Reservation Acceptance Reservation deadlines vary by menu. Please check from your desired menu.
Cleaning up after meals Self-service dinners are placed in a black box (with a lid) placed around the kitchen/dining table.* *The next day, our service staff will pick up the box.

Paid Options
Amenities and Extra Beds

For guests exceeding the standard number , amenities and extra beds are charged. (Towels are provided free for the number of guests.)
Additions can be made during reservation or by contacting the concierge.

Tesla Use

Two Teslas are available for transportation at NASU.
You can reserve a Tesla in advance through the app.
Refer to the How to use Tesla section for details.

Private Pool Heating

In houses with private pools, heating can be requested to make it a heated pool.
For heating requests, contact the concierge at least two days before your stay.
Refer to the About heating private pools section for details.

Cooking Utensils Rental

A full set of cooking utensils (pot, bowls, ladle, etc.) is available for ¥9,680 (tax and service charge included).

Horse Riding Reservations

We offer horse riding reservations at Nasu Farm Village . Please contact us via the concierge chat function for requests.

Early Check-in/Late Check-out

The following rates are available depending on availability.

¥12,100 per hour (tax and service charge included)

Full Cleaning

Cleaning is done between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. For stays of less than three consecutive nights, light cleaning is provided, but full cleaning is available for an additional charge.

Full Cleaning: ¥33,880 (tax and service charge included)

Please request by 6:00 PM the day before via the concierge chat function. For details on cleaning types, refer to the I want to know if there is room cleaning during the stay section for details.

In addition to the house's fixtures, on-demand items are available. Please refer to the following link for details.

For Children
Children’s Amenities

Enter your child’s age when booking.
We will prepare the following amenities sets according to the age.

Children’s toothbrush and toothpaste
Only for children 2 years and older
Pajamas (Kids size: 90-110 cm / Junior size: 120-140 cm)
Not available for children under 1 year old

Children’s cutlery

We will prepare these according to the age entered at booking.
Please note that availability is limited.

Children’s Meals

NOT A HOTEL offers children's menus.
When adding breakfast or dinner via the app, meals for children aged 7-12 will be automatically included for the number of staying guests. *The number can be adjusted.

For fees, please check.

For meals for children under 6, which cannot be ordered via the app, we can accommodate requests. Please contact us via the concierge chat function after booking.

Important Notes

Guests aged 13 and older are considered adults.
Baby food is not provided.
