Specific steps in lending
Two lending services are available through NOT A HOTEL COIN (NAC).
Types of Lending
NOT A HOTEL COIN (NAC) can be utilised in a variety of ways, but this article will explain the procedures for two types of lending: ‘accommodation rights lending’, where you can obtain accommodation rights simply by lending (depositing), and ‘NAC receiving lending’, where NAC is granted like interest when you lend. .
1. Preparation: NOT A HOTEL user registration and account linking
The NOT A HOTEL user registration process differs depending on the device you are using. Please register using the link below according to the device you are using.

Linking your account with GMO Coin
After downloading the app, it is necessary to link your account with GMO Coin.

2. How to select the rewards you receive for lending
There are two types of rewards you can receive for lending.
1. The right to stay at NOT A HOTEL
2. NOT A HOTEL COIN (NAC)
Once you have linked up with GMO Coin, the number of NACs you have will be displayed on your My Page. Pressing the number of NAC held will take you to the Lending page.

3. How to apply for accommodation rights lending

1) Check the properties you wish to lodge and the number of NACs required.
Select ‘Lending (Accommodation Receipt)’ and the number of NACs required to obtain accommodation rights will be displayed for each property. Swipe the screen to the left to select the property you wish to stay at.

2) Selecting the type of accommodation right (season) and desired number of nights
After selecting the property you wish to stay in and pressing ‘Go to application procedure’, you can select the property season and the number of nights you wish to stay (if you select multiple days, the availability of consecutive nights depends on the dates available at the property in question).
Select season: choose either standard season or high season.
Standard season: mainly for weekday dates.
High season: weekends, holidays and popular dates as defined by the property (e.g. summer period for seaside properties). It is possible to book standard season dates for high season concessions.

Select the number of nights you wish to receive: please select the number of nights you wish to receive.

3) Application procedure
After selecting the season and number of nights, press the ‘Decide’ button and the application confirmation screen will appear.
Please check the terms and conditions of the NOT A HOTEL COIN loan agreement and tick the box to agree if you agree to the terms and conditions. Then tap the ‘Apply’ button.

A confirmation screen for sending NACs will then be displayed. Tap ‘Go to NAC sending screen’ to proceed to the sending procedure with GMO Coin. Finally, enter the two-step verification code received via SMS and tap ‘Send’.

This will initiate the lending process and you will receive your accommodation rights. Once you have received your accommodation rights, you can book your stay.

As shown in the image on the right above, the indication ‘1 night’ indicates that the accommodation rights have been received.
Lending cannot be accepted if there is already no stock of offered nights. If the accommodation rights receipt type lending is no longer accepted, the screen display will show ‘SOLD OUT’ and the following screen will appear. In this case, please wait until the next new number of slots is opened.

4)Booking accommodation
Open ‘Home’ at the bottom of the screen and you will see the properties for which you have already received the right to stay. Press the photo of the property and tap the ‘Book’ button to display a screen for selecting the number of people using the property. Select the number of guests and press ‘Next’.

Then select the dates you wish to stay and press ‘Next’ to display the ‘Confirm your booking’ page.
The page displays the dates of your stay, the number of guests, additional options such as meals, and the information of the person making the reservation. Select the options you wish to use and, if you are happy with the information you have entered, press ‘Confirm booking’ at the bottom of the page.

The booking is complete when the following screen appears with the booking number. You can check the information about your booking under ‘View booking details’.

4. How to use NAC Receivable Lending
1) Check the list of plans.
Press the ‘Lending (Accommodation Receipt)’ button and select ‘Lending (NAC Receipt)’.
Plans that can be applied for are marked with a blue ‘Apply’ button. Select the desired plan and tap the ‘Apply’ button.

2) Select the number of units you wish to apply for
Select your preferred lending plan and confirm the following
Number of units to apply for: the number of units you wish to lend
Number of NACs to be lent: the number of NACs to be lent according to the number of units applied for
Scheduled annual interest rate: annual interest rate, even if the investment period is less than one year.
Investment period: the period after the end of the lending period until the NACs deposited and interest is returned
Lending fee: NAC for additional interest received at the end of the lending period
Number of NACs held: the quantity of NACs currently held
Please check the NOT A HOTELCOIN Consumption Lease Agreement and if you are happy with it, tick the box and tap ‘Apply’. (Once ticked, the button turns blue.)
Confirm the details and tap ‘Go to NAC sending screen’.

3) Application procedure
Enter the two-step verification code received via SMS and tap ‘Send’. This completes the application for NAC-receivable lending and starts the lending process.

5. Frequently asked questions
Q: Do the accommodation rights that I can get from Lending include meals?
No, it does not. The lending reward is for accommodation rights only. If you would like additional options, such as meals, you can pay in NAC or Japanese yen.
Q:Which NOT A HOTELs can I stay at by renting NAC?
You can stay at any NOT A HOTEL (property) that has already opened, except for NOT A HOTEL partners (UMITO) and stays at hotels abroad (ABROAD), which are not covered by the Lending Service.

Q:Are there any restrictions on the dates that can be stayed with the accommodation rights obtained through lending?
A: No. The dates you can choose to stay with NAC Lending accommodation rights are limited to 90 or 180 days, and the duration of the accommodation rights is 180 days.

The dates for which accommodation can be booked with accommodation rights obtained through renting are ‘dates of availability within 90 days (indicated in (i) in the diagram above)’ and the ‘period of use of such accommodation rights is 180 days (indicated in (ii) in the diagram above)’.

Q:Can NACs under lock-up (restrictions on sale and external delivery) be lent?
NACs that are locked up can also be lent. The lock-up only restricts trading on the exchange and sending to third parties other than NOT A HOTEL, and NACs that are locked up can still be used for lending and payment of incidental expenses at the time of accommodation.
Q:Are promotions in which I can participate by holding NACs treated as ‘holding’ even if the full amount is being lent?
NACs that are undergoing lending are not eligible for the campaign.
