Quick Guide to NOT A HOTEL Stay
For NOT A HOTEL stays, you must use the app or website, so please be sure to bring your smartphone with you during your stay.
Please select the items of interest from the table of contents and check them before your stay.
For directions to each place, how to confirm the location, and how to arrange a taxi, please refer to the following articles:
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am.
At check-in time, please select "Key" from the NOT A HOTEL app or website to display your reservation card.
Tap "Check-in" to complete the check-in process. After check-in, the house key will be displayed.
Tapping "Unlock" on the house key will unlock the door. Alternatively, you can tap "Show Code" and enter the displayed PIN code on the iPad next to the entrance to unlock the door.
Show Code will display the authentication code. Select "Unlock the Door Lock" on the nearby intercom and enter the authentication code to unlock the key. After check-in, all unlockable keys inside the house will be displayed on the key screen. Tap the Unlock button of the key you want to unlock to unlock the door.
To display the Code , the verification code will be displayed. Select Unlock the Door Lock on the intercom near the entrance and enter the verification code to unlock the key. The key is auto-lock.
For check-out, select the reservation card you want to check out from the app's Key section and then select Check-out .
After settling the charges for your stay, we will inform you of the payment details in the app.

Operation of Equipment in the House
In the house, you can adjust the indoor environment and operate the equipment using the iPads installed.
However, there are no switches to operate the equipment in the house, so please use the iPad in the room to operate them.

Appliances
As it varies by house, please check your app's house AMENITIES information for details.
1. Select the house you want to know the amenities for from Explore in the app.
2. Check the details of the selected house. You can see the appliances in AMENITIES .
Kitchen Supplies
Basic cooking utensils, dishes, and cutlery are provided in the house.

Use of In-house Convenience Store
Within the house, an unmanned convenience store is established, stocked with daily necessities and light meals essential for living. It offers a selection of drinks, food, dry goods, daily necessities, and apparel.
Convenience Store Menu
There is no need for immediate payment. The cost will be settled after checkout, along with any other expenses incurred during your stay.
Furthermore, the house is equipped with coffee beans, tea, and openers, among other items, available for your complimentary use. Please do not hesitate to take advantage of these amenities.

Please note that amenities sets and extra beds for guests exceeding the standard occupancy will incur additional charges.
The cost for an amenities set (including items such as a toothbrush and pajamas) is ¥1,815 (inclusive of tax and service charges), and for an extra bed (including a pillow, duvet, and mattress), the cost is ¥4,235 (inclusive of tax and service charges).
Should you require additional amenities sets or extra beds, please request them via the chat feature of our concierge service. (Towels will be provided for the number of guests.)

Amenities and Extra Beds
If the number of guests exceeds the standard occupancy, amenities including toothbrushes and pajamas, as well as extra beds, will incur additional charges.

Tesla Use
Each location is equipped with several Teslas for transportation during your stay.
By making a reservation in advance, you can use a Tesla.

Heating for Private Pools
Houses with private pools offer the option of heating upon request, allowing for the enjoyment of a warm pool. If you wish for the pool to be heated, please request this via the concierge at least two days before your stay.

BBQ & Pot Cooking Tools Rental
We offer a complete set of BBQ grills and pot cooking tools (pot, ladle, etc.) for a rental fee of ¥9,680 (inclusive of tax and service charges).
Horseback Riding Reservations (Nasu Only)
We facilitate horseback riding reservations at Nasu Farm Village. If interested, please contact us via the concierge chat feature.

Early Check-In & Late Check-Out
Subject to reservation status, we offer early check-in and late check-out for a fee of ¥12,100 per hour (inclusive of tax and service charges).
Full Cleaning
Cleaning is conducted between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. For stays shorter than three consecutive nights, while light cleaning is provided, a full cleaning service can be arranged for a fee.
Full Cleaning: ¥33,880 (inclusive of tax and service charges)

Children’s Amenities
Enter your child’s age when booking.
We will prepare the following amenities sets according to the age.

Only for children 2 years and older
Pajamas (Kids size: 90-110 cm / Junior size: 120-140 cm)
Not available for children under 1 year old
Children’s cutlery
We will prepare these according to the age entered at booking.

Children’s Meals
NOT A HOTEL offers children's menus.
When adding breakfast or dinner via the app, meals for children aged 7-12 will be automatically included for the number of staying guests. *The number can be adjusted.

For meals for children under 6, which cannot be ordered via the app, we can accommodate requests. Please contact us via the concierge chat function after booking.
Important Notes :
Guests aged 13 and older are considered adults.
Baby food is not provided.
