To stay at NOT A HOTEL, you will need to use the app or website, so please make sure to bring your smartphone with you during your stay.

Access

NOT A HOTEL SETOUCHI is located on the island of Sagishima. All guests, including those traveling by private car, are requested to check in at the departure lounge listed below. From there, we will provide transportation to the island via a private boat.

Important: The final boat departure from the lounge to Sagishima is at 17:30. If you expect to arrive later than this, please contact the concierge as soon as possible.

Transportation Services
We offer paid shuttle services from Hiroshima Airport and Mihara Station (the nearest Shinkansen/local train station). If you wish to use this service, please make a reservation via the "Booking Details" screen in the app.

From Hiroshima Airport: * Approx. 40 minutes by car.
Note: A complimentary Tesla shuttle is available exclusively for Owners.
From Mihara Station: * Approx. 15 minutes by car.
*Owner Perk: Owners who own a SUNREEF are entitled to complimentary shuttle services as a special benefit.

Check-in: 15:00
Check-out: 11:00

Please note that if you arrive at the lounge early, you may be asked to wait until the official check-in time before departing for the island.
Check-in
At the check-in time, you can operate the check-in and unlock the front door from the key screen on the NOT A HOTEL app or website.

After completing the check-in, all unlockable keys in the house will be displayed on the key screen.
Press the unlock button of the key you want to unlock, and the door will open.
By selecting Show Code , an authentication code will be displayed. You can also unlock the key by selecting "Unlock the door lock" on the intercom near the entrance and entering the authentication code. The keys are auto-locking.

Check-out
select the reservation card you want to check out from on the in-app key and choose "Check Out". After settling your usage charges during your stay, you will be notified of the payment through the app.

Facilities
House Equipment Operations
You can set the indoor environment and operate the equipment using the iPad installed in the house.
There are no switches to operate the equipment in the house, so please use the iPad.
For detailed instructions, refer to the How to operate the equipment inside the facility .

Home Appliances
Since they vary by house, please check the house AMENITIES information in the app using the following steps

1. From " Find " in the app, select the house you want to know about amenities.
2. Check the details of the selected house. Confirm the appliance information in AMENITIES .

Kitchenware
The house is equipped with basic cooking utensils, dishes, and cutlery. If you have any questions, please contact us via the concierge chat function.

Private Pool
Each house is equipped with a private pool.
Additionally, complimentary swimwear rentals are available for all staying guests.
Swimwear is also available for purchase at the on-site convenience store.

Private Sauna
Each house is equipped with its own private sauna and cold plunge bath. To turn the sauna on/off or adjust the temperature settings, please use the provided iPad or the "Home Control" section within the app.
Beach Sauna
This facility is available to all staying guests. (Capacity: 4 people) As the Beach Sauna operates on a reservation basis, please contact the concierge if you would like to make a booking.
Gym
Each house is equipped with private gym facilities, including a treadmill, fitness bike, and dumbbells. Please feel free to use these amenities at your leisure during your stay.
House Convenience Store
An unmanned convenience store is available inside the house, stocked with daily necessities and light meals to support your stay.
A selection of drinks, food, dry goods, daily essentials, and apparel is provided.

All charges will be settled together with other expenses incurred during your stay upon check-out.

In addition, coffee beans, tea, and openers are available in the house for your free use. Please feel free to enjoy them.

Meals

You can check your reserved meals through the app.

Meal Menu Add your dinner menu preferences through the app or notify us via the concierge chat function. Check the provided menu available at each location . *Menus differ by place.
Reservation Acceptance Reservation deadlines vary by menu. Please check from your desired menu.
For self-service dinners, please place used items in the black lidded box located near the kitchen and dining table.
 *Service staff will collect the box the following day.

Children’s Amenities
Enter your child’s age when booking.
We will prepare the following amenities sets according to the age.

Children’s toothbrush and toothpaste
Only for children 2 years and older
Pajamas (Kids size: 90-110 cm / Junior size: 120-140 cm)
Not available for children under 1 year old

Children’s cutlery
We will prepare these according to the age entered at booking.
Please note that availability is limited.

Children’s Meals
NOT A HOTEL offers children's menus.
When adding breakfast or dinner via the app, meals for children aged 7-12 will be automatically included for the number of staying guests. *The number can be adjusted.
For fees, please check.

For meals for children under 6, which cannot be ordered via the app, we can accommodate requests. Please contact us via the concierge chat function after booking.

Important Notes
Guests aged 13 and older are considered adults.
Baby food is not provided.
